‘High end’ headphones continue to grow in popularity, but it‘s still demonstrably true that the great majority of original cables supplied with even expensive models fall short of delivering the full performance potential of the headphone itself.

The Zeno Harmonic Grun cable addresses this by combining very high-purity solid-core OCC copper conductors in a true dual-balanced design combined with our Grun Coherent Earthing System.

During the development and testing phase, it was again evident that solid core conductors performed better than stranded conductors (true as a general rule, but not always practical to implement in practice). Solid-core conductors are less prone to suffer from vibration issues which can contribute to a slight ‘smearing’ and loss of temporal accuracy, crucial factors under the scrutiny of ‘high end’ headphone listening.

We achieved another significant improvement in dielectric efficiency; an advanced wideband dielectric ‘Physical FPE’ facilitates accuracy, neutrality and natural-sounding fidelity. In combination with Grun, Zeno Harmonic has exceptional resistance to RFI and EMI ‘noise,’ achieving an astonishingly low noise floor and extremely wide dynamic range.

Zeno Harmonic features our low-mass, wide bandwidth 4 pin OCC XLR or 4.4mm TRRS connectors with our precision-crimped airtight metal-to-metal construction methods, the objective being to produce a continuous solder-free high-integrity signal path without the typical breaks in material continuity which degrade ultimate fidelity.

Supplied as standard with a 1m Grun cable and spade tag adapter. Further performance gains can be achieved via an optional Grun mains adapter.
