Elipson A1000 : Mono Power Amplifier
The Infinite A1000 power amplifier has been specially designed for use with home cinema systems as well as all types of passive subwoofers. It is capable of delivering an output power that can reach 1000 watts at an impedance of 4 ohms. This mono Class D amplifier device is equipped with various input options, including RCA plugs, XLR, and high-level terminals, thereby allowing its use in all possible configurations, whether for home cinema or hi-fi setups.
The Infinite A1000 power amplifier is equipped with an adjustable low-pass filter, the frequency of which can be set between 40 and 200 Hz. The user has the possibility to choose from several attenuation slopes, ranging from -12 to -48 dB per octave, with a 6 dB step between each setting. Moreover, it offers seven EQ presets that allow shaping the sound quality according to user preferences. Additionally, a nine-frequency equalizer is available, covering the range from 20 Hz to 125 Hz, with the ability to adjust the amplitude from -6 to +3 dB. It is also possible to adjust the electrical phase from 0 to 315° in 45° increments. To complement these features, a subsonic high-pass filter can be set at 20 or 40 Hz, which limits excessive displacement of the diaphragm of the associated subwoofer(s).
Furthermore, the Infinite A1000 power amplifier offers an LFE (Low-Frequency Effects) mode, in which only the subsonic filter is active. This mode allows entrusting the management of the high-pass cutoff frequency to a home cinema amplifier.
