BassCore Technology
Since a thicker conductor improves low-frequency reproduction, we employed a solid conductor (the so-called ‘BassCore’) for low frequencies, and surrounded it with flexible strands for mid and high frequencies. Solid Grip Technology
« When connecting loudspeakers and an audio amplifier with bare wire, the exposed copper oxidizes quickly, increasing cable resistance and negatively impacting sound fidelity. The SBSC speaker cables use a special new technology for securely connecting the plugs to the speaker cable without solder—Solid Grip Technology. Unlike standard screw terminal connections, Solid Grip Technology involves crimping a properly prepared plug onto the speaker cable using a press.
