Version Gen 2i brings a whole raft of streaming improvements. Apple AirPlay 2 is now supported, giving the highest quality streaming from your Apple devices. Another bonus is the adoption of dual-band wi-fi. The new wi-fi chip lets you take advantage of the less noisy 5 GHz band. This results in faster connection times and fewer interruptions from other network traffic.
