SMC™ Magnet Technology for Reduced Distortion

SONIK 9 utilises DALI’s patented SMC™ Essential magnet system to lower distortion and improve linearity. A ferrite ring combined with a hybrid iron-SMC™ pole piece places SMC™ directly in the voice coil’s active zone. Hysteresis and eddy current effects are significantly reduced. Midrange clarity improves noticeably. The sound remains open, relaxed, and transparent.
